Galerie Modus in Paris

Museums and Galleries

In 1996, another exhibition hall worthy of attention of lovers of contemporary art appeared in the Parisian district of Marais. It was the Galerie Modus gallery created by professionals in the art business, located in a part of the arcades of an old mansion on the Place des Vosges.

The main goal of the founders and owners of the Modus gallery is the desire to popularize modern trends in fine art and provide a chance for young artists and sculptors to find permanent admirers of their talents.

The Modus Art Gallery team strives to honestly and fairly evaluate the creative achievements of artists of the early 21st century. A professional relationship based on respect and trust connects her with many masters of contemporary painting and sculpture.

The exhibition space of the gallery during the work was provided at the full disposal of M. Watson, J-M. Palaiosu, D. Booth, B. Catalano, Banksy, Sniku, H. Caria. Along with personal exhibitions, vernissages are held in its halls, uniting artists from different schools and generations.

The highlight of the beginning of 2018 was the exhibition of Indian artists Hari & Deepti from Mumbai. They draw inspiration from the surrounding lush nature of this southern country for their original work. The sculptures they created from paper reflect the dualism of the universe, its dark and light sides, simplicity and complexity. The figures of people and mythological creatures from the Indian epic were skillfully illuminated by the lamps placed inside them.

At the center of the creative interests of the Canadian artist Adam Lapton is the study of psychological motives in the actions of his contemporaries. In his painting, he uses the technique of overlaying several pre-prepared images. Thus, he seeks to show the dual spiritual nature of each person.

Striking optical effects in his work are achieved by the French artist Isabelle Sheltiens. The technology reminiscent of the pointillist technique developed by her allows you to create mosaics from colored glass. At the same time, in her works she accurately conveys the drama of a certain situation and the external resemblance to the model.
